8 Intimate Morning Routine For Couples Before 8AM

March 25, 2022 · RELATIONSHIP

For some couples, the morning routine goes something like this: they shower, get dressed, grab their breakfast, and head out to work.

As an expert, this isn’t a healthy or good morning routine couples should practice, if I may advise, because it doesn’t give time for mental and physical connection with your spouse before you run off to your daily activity.

A much better approach would be to devote at least a few minutes of your morning to some meaningful activities with your spouse or significant other. Here are eight things you can do before 8 AM that will help you forge stronger bonds with the love of your life.

1. morning routine for couples; Get Up Early

A morning routine is a critical component of any healthy and happy relationship. It’s also a fantastic way to make sure you have time for yourself and your spouse before work, kids, and life interfere. However, it can be challenging to make time out in your busy schedules, so I recommend getting up early with your partner.

It’s an essential routine for building intimacy and strengthening any relationship or marriage. To learn more on how to have better intimacy with your spouse through lovemaking, read this detailed article

2. morning routine; Stay In Bed and Cuddle

A morning cuddle with your spouse is a great way to start your day as a couple. You can look into your partner’s eyes and breathe while thinking positive thoughts about each other. It sounds silly, but it works, and it helps set up a happy day for you.

One study found that couples who shared five intimate moments per week were happier than couples who didn’t share intimate moments at all! So make sure to make time out every morning for just the two of you. You won’t regret it. Read this detailed post to know more intimate habits to try with your spouse.

3. Kiss Each Other

We get it-you’re too busy to make time for your partner. But, believe us when we say that nothing will destroy a marriage faster than a morning routine of rushed kisses and hurried breakfast-to-go cups.

If you want to start every day off right, set aside some time in bed with your partner first thing in the morning. Then, take turns telling each other what your night was like (like if you slept well), and then give each other big hugs or kisses before you get out of bed.

You can even incorporate morning lovemaking into your couple’s morning routine if you want to liven things up; here are more examples. No matter how much work is on your plate, don’t skip out on connecting with your spouse first thing in the morning. It may be what you need to help take some of that stress away!

4. They Cook Together

In a morning routine for couples, cooking together is a great way to start your day and connect. Be sure to cook something new or exciting! The goal of cooking together isn’t just to make an enjoyable meal—you want to get creative with it.

Perhaps you have learned about some fantastic dishes in your respective fields and could share them. Check out Google and Pinterest for amazing recipes (maybe even throw on a video!) and start collecting them.

You never know when you’ll feel like throwing one together! Plus, if you’re feeling extra energetic, there’s always breakfast in bed! It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been married; starting your morning off right will help set up a joyous day.

Cooking together can also be a good bonding experience between spouses working full-time jobs who might not see each other as much during their busy days. And, if cooking is not your thing, don’t worry! There are diverse ways to spice up your morning routine for couples that don’t directly involve food prep.

For example, instead of waking up to an alarm clock, try setting your phone to play your favorite music; if it’s a digital alarm. You can also make breakfast and have breakfast in bed. After some research, I discovered that breakfast couples tend to be more productive and are generally happier than couples who don’t.

A morning routine for couples should include lots of quality time spent with each other before going out to work. Learn what works better for both of you, then plan accordingly!

5. Pack lunch for Work

One of my favorite rituals for a morning routine for couples is packing my husband’s lunch for him. It’s not only about connecting in such an intimate way, but it gives us a chance to chat about our day ahead and make plans. Of course, we also choose foods that will provide us with energy all day long.

So, instead of just grabbing a coffee before work or school, start your morning with something more meaningful than usual. Pack each other’s lunches and plan out what you will eat together over dinner after the day’s work. You would be surprised at how much happier you both will be!

6. Call Parents in the morning

There’s nothing like hearing your parents’ voices in the morning. So give them a call right when you wake up—don’t forget to let them know you love them! A phone call might seem old-fashioned in the age of Skype and FaceTime, but it’s still an excellent way to feel more connected to your loved ones.

Plus, if you use these morning phone calls as an opportunity to meditate or reflect on gratitude, it could become a good habit for both of you.

7. morning routine; Take A Shower Together

What better way to start your morning off right than taking a shower together? You don’t have to wash each other’s backs, but you can also enjoy time talking and laughing. This is an excellent way to get one another going for your day and remember how much you love and appreciate each other.

Studies show that daily intimacy is key to any healthy relationship. Here is a detailed article I have written on how to tell if you’re in a healthy relationship, so why not incorporate it into your morning routine? What could be better than starting a new day with your soulmate in the bathroom?

If mornings are hectic in your household, consider adding in an extra five minutes before work to share some morning cuddles. And don’t forget about all of those sensual benefits as well!

Whether you want to spice things up or are looking for ways to bring more passion back into your life, try experimenting with different kisses and massages. The same things that make our partners feel good will make us feel good, too—so don’t hold back! Read more on how to spice up your relationship or marriage in this detailed article.

8. morning routine; Say Something Nice To Each Other

Make it a morning ritual to say something nice to each other before you’re even out of bed. Here Are 150 Sweet Compliments To Say To Your Spouse To Make Them Feel Loved You Should Read. Nothing lengthy, drawn-out, or romantic; just something sweet like Thanks for being here with me today.

Couples who do morning check-ins are much more likely to have good days and have less conflict over their day than couples who don’t do morning check-ins.

A morning routine can be as effortless as saying Good Morning while getting ready in your bathroom. It doesn’t need to be complicated—make sure that it happens every morning!

Final Thoughts On 8 Intimate Morning Routines For Couples Before 8AM

Does any of the above couple routines seem like a Hard Task? I don’t think so, but if it seems so. I’d advise you to take a step at a time as Rome was not built in a day. Start with a few things you and your spouse will love doing together. When you start your day in this regard, I’m sure you’ll both be craving to return to each other by the close of the day.

You have to nurture your relationship daily to get the best of it. Don’t presume it will take care of itself or leave the tending to your spouse. Choose to do it together, be adventurous, and get creative as you create your couple routine. Please kindly leave your opinion and thoughts in the comment section below.
